Regular Board of Director Meetings
The Governing Documents require that the board meets at minimum twice per year. The board meets on a regular basis, typically once per quarter. Certain months meetings may be canceled due to lack of agenda items, travel schedules and holidays. Notice of Meetings will be sent in advance by the properyt manager. The Property Manager can provide additional information. Submit a request from the Dashboard.
While we value homeowner input, please remember this meeting is a working meeting for the board. Tenant attendance is not permitted. We can open the floor for questions and comment as needed. Meeting minutes can be found on the Property Management Company’s website.
All meetings are currently conducted through virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Zoom). The Property Manager can provide access instructions.
Regular Board Meetings are open to homeowners. As these are working sessions, we ask that your mics are muted until we call for questions/comments. Meetings have a maximum 45 minute length. Board Executive Sessions are not open unless an individual has business with the board (fine dispute, delinquency, etc.).
Annual Association Meeting
The Homeowner Association Annual Meeting is held once per year typically in December. At this meeting we elect board members, approve the budget for the upcoming year and give an overview of the current year ending. Notice for this meeting is given as outlined in the Governing Documents.
If you desire to sit on the board, please email the Property Manager. Please note that board members are expected to actively attend meetings and complete projects that benefit the Association.
All meetings are currently conducted through virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Zoom). The Property Manager can provide access instructions.
You can reach a Board Members by emailing deerloftscondos@gmail.com. It will be assigned to a board member for response.
Please keep in mind board members may not be available right away. The HOA hires a management company for the operation of our building and most queries should start with the Property Manager. These positions are 100% volunteer. Board members pay the same dues you pay. If it's not on fire, flooding or a security risk, contact the property manager first. The property manager will forward your query to board members.
